How does pricing work for a support team with fewer than 50 agents?
ChattyBox is not priced per support-agent seat. Public plans are based on sites, indexed pages, and monthly chatbot messages. It provides self-service answers from public content and does not replace help-desk routing, private account access, or human-agent workflows.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade self-service at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
What happens if I exceed my message limit?
Free and Starter stop accepting new chatbot messages at their monthly message limits until the next cycle or an upgrade. Pro and Business are also capped by default; optional pay-as-you-go allows extra usage up to your configured overage limits.
How does pay-as-you-go work?
PAYG is available on Pro and Business and is off by default. Set separate overage spending limits for messages, pages, and sites, or explicitly choose no limit. Rates are $5 per 1,000 extra messages, $10 per 1,000 extra pages per month, and $10 per extra active site per month.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans.
Can I use ChattyBox on multiple domains?
Yes, you can create multiple projects, each with its own domain and settings. Active projects count toward the owning account's site allowance, and included pages are one allowance shared across that owner's projects. Message and refresh budgets remain separate.
Does the refresh cadence mean unlimited re-indexing?
No. Free allows weekly refreshes and paid plans allow daily refreshes, subject to the monthly page refresh budget. New or changed pages and rebuild work consume that budget; unchanged pages do not consume it during a normal re-scrape. Automatic refresh must be enabled in your source settings.
